Due to Covid-19 we are changing our renewal guidelines through 2020. If your CPR and/or First Aid certification expires in 2020, you took your last class through Action Safety Education or anther organization that included a hands-on skills session you may renew your card for one 1year. To complete the renewal process you must complete the online course. If you did not take your previous course through Action Safety Education you will be required to email your current certification card to contact_us@actionedu.com, please include a picture of the front and back of your card. Once we have verified the card and you have completed the online course a completion card will be issued valid for one year. If you took your class through Action Safety Education you will not need to send an email to us as we have your records on file.
The Action Safety Education courses meet the OSHA standards for training when combined with a brief hands-on skills class. They are intended for the general workplace and for personal/home training.
The CPR courses are not designed for medical professionals or professional rescuers.
Payment Policy:
The CPR, AED and First Aid courses have two components. Students must complete the online course before attending a skills class with an authorized trainer to receive a completion card. Payment for the online course includes unlimited access to course material for one year. The final test must be completed within 30 days of registration. Payment for the skills class is not included. Authorized Training Centers providing skills courses set their own prices and are paid directly for the course.
Passwords and website access:
After providing payment you will have access to the online course for one year. This information is for your use only and may not be shared. Do not allow other individuals to view content or answer quizzes.
Privacy Policy:
Student information will be released to authorized training centers and payment processing company only and will not be sold or given to any other organizations or individuals.
Refund policy:
No refunds of money to students. Students will however be offered online remediation if necessary.
Copyright and ownership of material:
All material contained in this website, online course, quizzes and written exams is exclusively owned by Action Safety Education, Inc., and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Skills Classes:
Skills classes may only be taught by authorized Action Safety Education instructors and training centers. You must attend a skills class within 60 days of completing the online course. If you are taking the course to meet OSHA workplace requirements, the hands-on skills training is mandatory. After completing your skills class you will receive a completion card from your skills instructor indicating you have met the guidelines set by Action Safety Education, Inc. Please report any unauthorized use of the website or Action Safety Education materials and name directly to the address listed below.
Course Completion and Certification:
Once payment is received you will have access to course material and quizzes using the e-mail address and password you created at the time you registered. You have 30 days from the time a password is issued to successfully complete the online final test. After successfully completing the final exam you will be prompted to print the online course completion certificate. You must present a copy of your certificate to your skills instructor at the beginning of the class. You will be required to practice and demonstrate proper CPR, AED or First Aid skills as presented in the online course. Completion cards will be issued by the authorized training center within 30 days of successful course completion.
Action Safety Education, Inc. does not guarantee that students participating in or completing our course will be able to perform CPR or First Aid in an actual emergency.
